AC/DC has been around for years; with adoring fans still following them around on tour. Most loyal fans know that the band is comprised of three brothers, but what many may not know is that they are originally from Scotland. In their younger years, the entire family moved to Melbourne, Australia, which is where the boys began to hone in on their love for music.

One of the brothers, George Young, though he would be successful on his own, which proved to be wrong. This endeavor, of his, left his other two brothers to fend for them; it was now up to Angus and Malcolm to make a name for themselves, which they did. These boys had some of the greatest talent that anyone had seen in some time. A comical fact about AC/DC is that they found their identity (name) on a vacuum cleaner.

The AC/DC 2008/2009 tour had been a great success. Back in 2008 they toured North America for several months. Only a few months after this tour ended they decided to continue the tour worldwide. The Black Ice Tour was scheduled to come to an end in 2009. The excitement and energy, that the band once had, still pours from the stage. Angus, for example, is still crazy enough to jump around the stage in only a pair of tennis shoes and shorts, and on his tippy toes at that. It doesn't matter where you are, you should get the opportunity to see them -- live - on their next tour!

They made appearances in many different locations, some of which include Atlanta, Dallas, and San Juan (all of which are scheduled for October and November). Be sure to get your tickets for the next tour to see Phill Rudd, Angus, Brian Johnson, and Cliff Williams perform live right at your fingertips. (Yes, Phill Rudd is touring with the band, even after his big blow up with Angus years ago.) This band is so amazing that they are within the top 10 greatest rock band of all times and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2003). They have sold over 200 million records and are currently ranked at #5. Additionally, they have voted as the seventh greatest bands, of all times, by MTV; they are truly amazing.

The numbers don't say anything to a lot of people, hearing them, first hand, is what convinces you of their greatness. Regardless of age, you have -- at the very least -- heard of this band (whether you've heard one of their songs or not). Be sure to see them perform live, get your tickets as soon as they go on-sale!
