When we talk about the psychic topic, we always associate it with something extraordinary. We consider a psychic individual as out of the ordinary, in comparison to regular human beings. However, come to think of it, they're also human, like us. Nevertheless, they are considered special. You may ask -- how come, what do these psychics possess that makes them stand out from the crowd?

When we talk about the psychic topic, we always associate it with something extraordinary. We consider a psychic individual as out of the ordinary, in comparison to regular human beings. However, come to think of it, they're also human, like us. Nevertheless, they are considered special. You may ask -- how come, what do these psychics possess that makes them stand out from the crowd?
As by definition, a psychic is a person recognized to have extraordinary perception, or what we commonly call as ESP. Psychics can do extraordinary things with their ESP and psychic senses. They can see beyond time and space, as well as read minds, among many other abilities. They are able to do these things because of psychic senses. There are 6 psychic senses, and these are enumerated as follows:
CLAIRVOYANCE. Clairvoyance came from the French word "clair" which means "clear", and "voyance" meaning "vision". This psychic sense enables the person to see the past, present, and even the future. This ability is being used to give readings. However in some rare cases, clairvoyance is accompanied by a strong degree of the sixth sense, which enables the psychic to see spiritual beings.
CLAIRAUDIENCE. Another form of ESP, is clairaudience -- originating from French terms "clair" meaning "clear", and "audience", which means hearing. In clairaudience, the person acquires information by paranormal auditory means. Usually, someone gifted with this ability can hear voices, tones, or noises, that come from spiritual entities.
CLAIRSENTIENCE. If clairvoyance is knowing information through seeing, and clairaudience is to hearing, clairsentience is all about feeling. Clairsentience is said to be that "gut feeling" or the ability to read the energy vibrations of a person, object, or place.
CLAIRLALIENCE. The sense of smell is the focus of clairlalience. With this ability, psychics can smell what a spirit was like when he was still alive. For example, if the spirit when still living was a smoker, the psychic can smell smoke.
CLAIRGUSTANCE. Clairgustance is a form of ESP that is associated with the extraordinary ability of tasting. The psychic who possesses this ability is able to identify the essence of a substance from the spiritual dimension through taste.
CLAIRCOGNIZANCE. The final sense a psychic may possess is claircognizance, which means "clear knowing". Psychics have the special ability to just simply know things without any scientific or logical explanation at all.
These are the six psychic senses. Psychics are usually gifted with one or more of these senses. However, there are some really gifted individuals, who possess all six of it! It is through these special senses that psychics are being considered as someone out of normal. On the contrary, without the knowledge of everybody, all of us somehow possess one or even more of these senses that still needs to be discovered.
